BIPOC Storytelling Fund
Description
The BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) Storytelling Fund is an early-stage for-profit revolving equity fund for storytellers of color in the United States. It is being developed with leadership from a broad cross section of media and storytelling experts (film, television, radio, podcasting, theater, immersive technology, etc.) with the support of the Surdna Foundation.
Currently, no other investment fund exists that focuses on BIPOC creators and provides the financial backing to support BIPOC community control over BIPOC community narratives.
