Eco Liberation Fund
Description
The Eco Liberation Fund is an intermediary participatory fund centering the work of environmental justice grassroots organizations on the frontlines of the St. Louis Metro area. Participatory funding is community centered and led. We believe in transparent reporting, and dismantling hierarchical funder structures, through easy application processes and regenerative giving practices. We envision that by moving money, creating a just culture, and sharing knowledge, our work will help to build a healthy ecological system across the St. Louis Metro area. We value movement towards community ownership and stewardship of philanthropic resources, knowing that communities directly impacted hold the knowledge to design their own solutions.
