The MURPH is a 9,700 sq. ft. Multi-Use Radical People’s Hall in Atlanta’s historic West End community. It acts as a hub for social justice movements and values-aligned cultural and community workers of all types to gather, work, train, learn, strategize, share skills, and build sanctuary with each other. Our space hosts ten individual offices, one conference room, one classroom, a large common area, a laundry room, a full kitchen, and a 3,400 sq. ft. multi-purpose warehouse which will include 1-2 workshop/studio spaces. The MURPH will offer accessible, well-equipped, sliding-scale, and, in some cases, subsidized office, meeting, and workshop space. We follow a community stewardship model that will ensure The MURPH remains affordable and accessible for both short and long-term use. The intentional leasing of offices will strengthen our ability to better cross-pollinate, pool, and share resources across organizations.
